WEEK 1:- 

When we rely on wholefoods to form the basis of our meals, we naturally crowd out the processed foods that are quite often damaging our gut and preventing us from absorbing the vitamins, minerals and nutrients we need to heal and repair our gastrointestinal system. For that reason, this week’s plan is centred around easy to digest smoothies, soups and meals.  It incorporates anti-inflammatory soothing nutrients, prebiotic foods to feed the good ‘gut bacteria’ and healing omega 3’s, while also introducing gut repairing broths. The menu is designed to keep you feeling satiated, yet give the digestive system a rest from today’s western diet, which can place a burden on our gut and increase the risk of leaky gut and it’s associated health conditions.

WEEK 2:-

This week builds on week 1 and the anti-inflammatory, soothing & healing nutrients, by adding in fermented probiotic foods, gut strengthening collagen (this protein has so many wonderful protective benefits, not just for the gut!) and the powerhouse antioxidant that is matcha! Plus, a whole lot of other nutrients aimed at improving the gut microbiome!

WEEK 3:-

The first 2 weeks are more about  easy to digest foods to allow the digestive system a rest, along with anti-inflammatory, soothing & healing nutrients, prebiotic & probiotic foods, gut strengthening collagen and increasing antioxidant intake! Its been a whole lot of nutrients aimed at improving the gut microbiome, healing the gastrointestinal lining and strengthening the gut.  This week builds on all of this and also on adding more immune boosting properties and incorporating nourishing wholefoods that are not as easy on the digestive system.  This is so you can see how easy it is to incorporate gut healing foods into everyday meals.
